So hard to get hold of! They do ship to the U.K.
Such a good price too. Boutiques often overprice Nudie jeans.

You could say that Acne are a brand which although designer, epitomizes the high end of the high street. The prices are not ridiculous and you know that the cut and quality of the jeans and trousers is always fantastic. A favorite for the past few seasons amongst the fashion industry, their minimalist approach to apparel and pioneering cuts in denim have made them into a must have brand. The spring summer collection has an emphasis on contrasting silhouette. Without a doubt my favorite way to wear clothes. Being top heavy means you can wear the skinniest jeans and the clumpiest shoes and not look emaciated. Last season the carrot fit was featured and this season, drop crotch tailored trousers in the seersucker material have made an appearance. They are amazing. The problem with a drop crotch is that they never seem to be skinny enough at the bottom to create a big enough contrast to get away with them. In additional to this clothing, as expected for summer, they are pushing the sandal. They have produced a less intense more neutral version of their gladiator sandal of last summer. I still could never imagine pulling them off. Or wanting to. On the other hand, the desert boots that Acne are offering this season are beautiful. Going against the minimalist theme, the leopard print desert boots make quite a statement. Here are the highlights.

Topman Introduce New Line Of Skinnies.

If your anything like me, you like your jeans to look like leggings from a distance. And I’m not usually fan of Topman jeans because they tend to be a bit straight leg, even when you go down to a 28. So I’m pleased that they’ve done a ‘spray on’ range to accommodate this problem. Here are the nicest ones in the collection.

But…Cheap Monday are going to cost you only a fiver more, and use the same skinny/stretch method. And if the S/S 10 show is anything to go by, the sprayon is going to once agin be big. Skinnies really are outliving expectation.

Gun Fit Returns.

Before I did a post on the gun fit jeans All Saints brought out at the beginning of the year. In true All Saints fashion they were an exaggeration of the carrot fit that proved fairly popular last A/W. I ended up getting a pair but I ended up leaving them in the wardrobe because I just couldn’t make them work. It was only the other day when I saw someone wearing then turned up with some canvas boaters that I thought I’d give them a chance. And the difference is huge. The turn ups accentuate the skinniness of the bottoms and create a really great silhouette. They take a lot of getting used to if you’ve been wearing skinnies for what seems like forever but it’s worth it. In terms of the footwear to wear with them I couldn’t have thought of a better accompaniment than the canvas boaters or a strong coloured suede or leather. Here is my outfit choice.

Denim Bow Tie.

The bow tie was big news in AW 08, either giving you an alternative to a skinny tie in the workplace or occasion, or adding a nice twist to a shirt on a normal day. Clear lens glasses appeared to be uniform with this look and it was just another one of those ‘geek chic’ things which I’v never really enjoyed. However with this denim neck tie, you can incorporate everyone’s love for anything denim, and try not to look overly American by toning it down, or even better, incorporate it with a denim short in the same way a white neck tie adds more life to a plain white shirt.

This new Danish label seems very exciting. The clothes I’v seen that have arrived on the oki-ni website feature oversized silhouettes and bold prints at good prices. The jeans are available from May 8th.
